Russell Westbrook bags back-to-back MVP, after leading the West All stars with 31 points, over the East All stars. In a high scoring game, 196 – 173.
Westbrook went down to work early in the first quarter and continued his brilliance performance until the buzzer sounded. Westbrook and co-Thunder teammate, Kevin Durant lead the way for the West All Stars early in the first quarter, with high flying dunks and alley-ops which dazzles the crowd.
Kobe Bryant, who played his last All Star game, and this year’s highest vote getter finished with 10 points. He left the game at 1:06 with standing ovation.
Paul George lead the scoring for the East with 41 points. Just one off for tying the highest point scored by a player in an All star game set by Wilt Chamberlain.
Westbrook, not only lead the scoring for the West, but also had an all around stats on his name. Grabbing eight rebounds, dishing out five assists and is very active in defense with five steals.
The final score 196 – 173 , also sets an All time record for most points in a game.
