Purefoods Star Hotshots import replacement, Ricardo Ratliffe did a good job last game complementing the locals of Hotshots. He chipped in 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Marc Pingris, Purefoods star forward, said that that Ratliffe is the right fit for Hotshots. He added that, they needed a post-up player. Denzel Bowles on the other hand, is more of an all-around type of offensive player.
The question still remains, if they will replace Ricardo Ratliffe when Denzel returns?
The latest PBA trade rumors all points to Globalport’s veteran guard, Joseph Yeo. This rumor pops up after Globalport Batang Pier owner, Mikee Romero posted on his Facebook account, that a veteran player will be moving out soon.
“With the emergence of Paola Taha, Jonathan Uyloan and new recruit Jeric Fortuna, 1 of our old veteran players who is playing very poorly will spend more time in the bench. I hope he can still find a team that would want him. (clue: we gave away a first round pick to get this player and sad to say we are banging our heads now),” Romero posted.
Although no names were mentioned in the post. But all fingers point out to Joseph Yeo, who the team acquired last season.
Joseph Yeo was aware of the trade rumors. According to the veteran guard, he was able to read an article about it.
Last night game, puts more sizzle on the rumor, as we has not fielded in the game, despite having Pringles on the injury list and Terrence Romeo sitting out one quarter because of calf injury.
The Ninja, Joseph Yeo, was professional about dealing it though and respected the coach’s decision.
