Pound for pound king, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao says Juan Manuel Marquez is not not his toughest opponent at the welterweight division.
“I still consider (Marquez) to be one of the toughest opponents in this weight division, but not the toughest,” said Pacquiao in an interview with RingTV.com.
The mos awaited fight will happen on November 12. This will be the third time the two will face each other. Pacquiao will defend his WBO welterweight championship.
Pacquiao and Marquez’ first meeting, was at the featherweight division which ended in a draw, During their rematch last 2008 was at super featherweight, Pacquiao defeated Marquez via a split decision in their 2nd meeting.
“I know that for this fight, he will train hard,” Pacquiao said of his opponent. “Marquez will give everything that he can for this fight. This is a different fight for him, this is the most important fight of his boxing career.”
Pacquiao is already in the Wild Card Gym in California, where he will finish his training camp for the Marquez fight.
