The PBA D-League Aspirants Cup semifinals unfold Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan with four teams aiming to inch one step closer to the finals.
Foundation Cup champion North Luzon Expressway and Big Chill clash at 4 p.m. after Cebuana Lhuillier and Freego collide in the opener at 2 p.m. with both matches to be contested in best-of-three affairs.
All eyes will be on NLEX and Cebuana, the two squads that earned the early semis slots as reward for being the first and second placers, respectively, during the elimination round.
So expect both the Road Warriors and the Gems to not waste the incentives given to them, especially knowing that the Superchargers and the Jeans Makers are capable of matching up.
For NLEX coach Boyet Fernandez, it’s a chance for him and his squad to seek redemption against Big Chill, which handed them their only loss of the season – an 85-83 setback on Nov. 24.
